Who we are


West Hillcrest DDA Group Home is a private organization that provides developmental disability services to adults throughout and beyond the North Carolina jurisdiction. Our facility is a 24-hour facility, open 24 hours a day, each day of the year. Our facility shall accept no more clients than the number for which it is licensed.

The organization's goal is to provide high quality services that are individualized and built on strengths. Our facility is involved in the community with neighbors, homeowners’ association, and organizations. Our aim is to ensure necessary community-based services and supports are provided to promote individual recovery from mental illness and/or substance abuse, support parents/guardians, and reduce psychiatric hospitalizations and/or out-of-home placements, whenever possible. In addition, we aim to build resiliency in children and youth to help them reach their full potential and assist in reunification from placement, when applicable.

West Hillcrest DDA Group Home seeks to serve adolescents and young adult. Services are designed to support, empower, and enable individuals, families/guardians and States unities to be strengthened through professional community-based services that will enhance the health, safety and needs of the communities.

These clients directed services will build upon the strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences of the individual. In collaboration with other agencies and/or organizations, contractor members seek to maximize the resources available and attend to concerns for the safety of individuals, families and the communities served. In addition, leadership will strive to manage fiscal resources effectively and responsibly.

Our Vision


At West Hillcrest DDA Group Home, our vision is to address the root causes of behavioral health issues that often result in criminal behavior.
